I have to tell them
I know the truth
I have to warn them
The world is ending soon
They must believe it
I've seen the end
I have to trust in
This voice I'm hearing in my head
I've tried to reason
With everyone
I've tried to instill
*In them the fear of gods
They will not hear me
They're all condemned
I have foreseen it
Destruction, lamentation, death
They will not listen
I'm called a fool
They will all perish
Or live a life too cruel
They will not listen
I can't go on
I have to leave them
I won't be tormented no more
The voice has told me
Of this world's fall
The voice has shown me
I've lived it all
I have foreseen it
destruction, death
I have foreseen it
destruction, lamentation, death

I picked this one up in advance of a holiday trip. In these times I always need some softer music for my companion which rocks only a little. But SPIRAL GURU's cool 70s influenced psychedelic rock even rocks a bit more. Usually this is not my genre, stuf like Spiritual Beggars or the like, but SPIRAL GURU is definitely charming, maybe because of the female vocals. Further the songs are not too psychedelic, they have a solid catchiness. Check "Signs" or "Oracle". H.L.
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021

Nasty occult stoner doom. Those fuzzy riffs are awesome and the psychedelic vocals are insane. Put your headphones on, grab a bottle of beer and listen to this while you sacrifice your enemies. Sælzer Bub
