The eyes of gods
Watching me
Visions of hell
Ηaunting me
The woe of Men
Takes its toll
The throes of death
They have pierced my soul
I must endure
Must resist
I must ensure
We persist
Their blood will be
On my hands
The gruelling guilt
Rips my heart apart
Feverish thoughts of wretchedness (Cogita miseriam)
Hammering my mind (Malleo tuam mentem)
They have all rejected me (Omni te pernegaverunt)
How could I be so blind (Tam caeca eras)
The gods they have forsaken me (Dei te derelinquerunt)
Should it be that I (Tempus est ut)
Shall wallow in my selfishness (Cogites te ipsum)
Abandon them and leave them all to die? (Relinquas eos et ei moriantur)

I picked this one up in advance of a holiday trip. In these times I always need some softer music for my companion which rocks only a little. But SPIRAL GURU's cool 70s influenced psychedelic rock even rocks a bit more. Usually this is not my genre, stuf like Spiritual Beggars or the like, but SPIRAL GURU is definitely charming, maybe because of the female vocals. Further the songs are not too psychedelic, they have a solid catchiness. Check "Signs" or "Oracle". H.L.
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
Nasty occult stoner doom. Those fuzzy riffs are awesome and the psychedelic vocals are insane. Put your headphones on, grab a bottle of beer and listen to this while you sacrifice your enemies. Sælzer Bub
